This sign can hold notes, cards and photos.

It's super cheap and super easy!

The tutorial is a few posts down...

the only difference is that I added a

paper flower for some spice.Have fun, girls!

Ribbon Flower Headband

This little headband cost about $1.20!

Headband was in the Dollar section at Target.

The ribbon was left over from some crafts.

Just take one side of the wire out on the ribbon

and gather.

Then hot glue it on a backing (like cardboard).

Glue it in a circle,

till the flower gets fuller and fuller.

You will end in the middle of the ribbon flower.

Tuck the middle in and hot glue it down.

Then glue it to your headband.

Go try it!

"Scrabble" Word Craft

I found an awesome blog,

that has a Scrabble Craft.

Just bought the game at a garage sale for 50 cents!

Here's a quick version of a Mini-Tutorial...

Here's the Supplies:

Mod Podge

Scrabble letters

stamp pad

scrap paper

glue gun

and small piece of wood or old sign.

First, cut the paper the same size as the piece of wood.

Next, scrape the edges of the paper to create a "distressed" look.
There is a "distressed" ink pad, but I only had a regular one.
I was happy with the result of mine,
but if you have a few bucks, go buy a distressed pad for future projects.
After it got distressed,
I Mod Podged it to the wood.

Then, I cut a small strip to accent the sign,
and Mod Podged it on top in the middle.

Next, I gave each letter a distressed look.
Then I hot glue gunned letters in the middle of the sign.

All done!

It's that simple!

I chose "Yahweh"

because it means "I Am, or The Lord."

Something I want to be reminded of each and everyday...

that The Lord WAS...

He IS...

and ALWAYS will BE!

SUPER Simple Hair Clip Craft

I love crafting with little girls!

I got to do some simple crafting with our friends this week.

Here's something to try at home

with your daughters & friends!

Supplies:

Hot Glue Gun

fabric scraps

pinking shears and/or regular fabric scissors

bobby pins

buttons or "bling"

First, cut 4 large circles (about the size of a drinking cup).

You can use pinking shears to make it edgy looking.

Then, cut 4-6 medium circles...

and about 4 or so small circles.

Then Hot Glue all the circles together,

going from largest to smallest on top.

HINT: after each piece is glued, give it a little spin

with your finger to the right (keeping it in place).

This will give it a fuller look.

ALSO...

the more circles, the fuller it looks.

Next, glue the button or "bling" in the center of the smallest circle.

Finally, glue the circles to a bobby pin,

or stitch it to a hair rubber band as a ponytail holder.

Voila! All done!

A Super Easy 10 minute craft...love it!

Craft Day

Can I just say that I had a dream come true today?!!!

Well...

I DID!!! I have ALWAYS wanted to have a Craft Day at my own home...

yummy coffee and treats,

kids taken care of,

and lots of crafting!!!

It happened!

Three sweet, beautiful, and very creative and crafty sisters

came over today and blessed my socks off!

We made a cute, little burlap wreath

using fabric, hot glue, little brads, paper, stamp pad & stamps,

some twine, and of course, burlap.

Even Baby Beau came for a visit and didn't make a peep
the entire time!!
Thank you, Beau!

It was so wonderful to just be creative,
be silly, and be with buddies
all at the same time!
And the best part was...
that this wreath costs about $5 to make....
and it's SUPER cute to hang on a door
inside or outside.
